Terms of Service in Maryland

What General Pest Control Covers

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply to General Pest Control work Maryland Pest Solutions agrees to perform at the service address. The written estimate or service record identifies the pests, treatment areas, methods, and any included follow-up.

Work not listed there is outside the agreed scope and may need a separate estimate and your approval. Exclusions may include repairs, sanitation, wildlife removal, and specialized treatments not included in the written agreement.

All pesticide work must follow applicable law and product directions, including the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), the Maryland Pesticide Applicator Act, and COMAR 15.05.01 governing pesticide use and application. The business must hold required Maryland pesticide business licenses, and restricted-use products may be applied only by appropriately certified applicators.

Products are used according to EPA-approved label directions. Containers are handled and discarded as the label and applicable Maryland Department of Agriculture requirements direct.

Federal, state, and local rules, including guidance from the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Maryland Department of the Environment, Maryland Department of Health, and Baltimore City Health Department where relevant, also apply.

Appointment Changes and Cancellations

Appointments are arranged by phone, email, or another method confirmed by Maryland Pest Solutions. We will provide the scheduled date or arrival window and any preparation instructions we know are needed. Please make sure an adult can provide access and tell us about pets, access restrictions, or relevant safety concerns before the visit.

If you need to cancel or change an appointment, contact us as soon as possible using the details below. Any cancellation charge or other appointment condition will apply only if disclosed and agreed to before booking, and as permitted by law.

If we cannot safely or reasonably perform the work because access is unavailable or preparation has not been completed, we may need to reschedule. If inspection reveals that the requested work differs from the estimate, we will explain the change and obtain your approval before doing additional work.

You may decline the proposed change; the original service may then be limited or rescheduled. Weather, safety concerns, or operational issues may also require a new appointment, which we will arrange with you.

Estimates, Charges, and Payment

Maryland Pest Solutions provides an estimate based on the information available when it is prepared, including the reported pest issue, property details, and any inspection completed. The estimate should describe the agreed work and any stated limits.

If inspection or changing conditions show that additional work may be needed, we will explain the proposed scope and any price change before proceeding. You must approve the change; declining it means we will perform only the original agreed work, if that work remains appropriate.

Payment is due according to the timing and method stated in your estimate, invoice, or service agreement. Ask us to clarify any charge you do not understand before authorizing work.

No price, discount, or financing arrangement applies unless it is expressly provided in writing. You are responsible for paying approved charges for services performed, subject to applicable law and the terms disclosed to you.

If a payment is disputed, contact us promptly with the invoice details so we can review the concern. These terms do not change any rights you may have under consumer protection laws.

Written Warranty Terms and Service Results

Maryland Pest Solutions does not promise that pest activity will end permanently or that pests will not return. Results can depend on conditions outside the service, including entry points, sanitation, moisture, building features, and activity on neighboring properties. A service visit alone does not create a continuing warranty or a guaranteed treatment period.

If a specific workmanship warranty or follow-up commitment is offered, it must be stated in writing and will apply only for the duration, property, pest, and conditions described in that document. The written terms will explain any required customer steps and exclusions.

Coverage may not apply where the agreement says it is excluded, such as when access is denied, required preparation is not completed, or conditions materially change; the written warranty controls. We will not add warranty terms after the fact or suggest that a particular duration applies when none was provided in writing.

Contact us if you believe work did not match the agreed scope so we can review the service record and any applicable written commitment.

Responsibility for Service and Property Conditions

To the extent permitted by law, Maryland Pest Solutions’ responsibility for a claim arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it, or to liability that cannot legally be waived or limited. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies provided by applicable consumer protection law.

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden building conditions, pest activity outside the treated area, or conditions that were not part of the agreed work, except where applicable law says otherwise. Pesticides are applied in accordance with applicable requirements, including FIFRA, the Maryland Pesticide Applicator Act, COMAR 15.05.01, required Maryland pesticide business licensing, applicable restricted-use applicator certification, and EPA-approved label directions.

These rules govern safe and lawful pesticide use; they do not expand the work beyond the written agreement. Any pesticide container disposal will follow the product label and applicable Maryland requirements.

Questions About These Terms

For questions about these terms, an estimate, or scheduled work, contact Maryland Pest Solutions at (877) 729-2528 or info@marylandpestsolutions.top. You may also write to 100 Light St, Baltimore, MD.

Please include your service address and any estimate or invoice details that will help us respond. Do not send urgent safety or medical concerns by email; contact the appropriate emergency or health service.

We may revise these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted with a revised effective date or provided through another reasonable notice method.

Changes apply to future services after notice, unless applicable law requires a different approach. The version provided or accepted for a particular job will govern that work, subject to any later written agreement and applicable law.

If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent allowed. These terms do not replace the written estimate or service record describing the work you approved.

Service Expert at Maryland Pest Solutions

I started in pest control working in Baltimore, where older rowhouses, shared walls, and aging foundations often create pest entry points. I built this company to bring careful inspections and clear treatment plans to Maryland homes and businesses through humid summers and colder months when rodents seek shelter indoors.
